Is it Friday yet?
Yesterday's post was really self-indulgent and ultimately pitiful. "Oh poor me..blah...blah...blah..." I just want to delete it except that I hope that I can look back at it and remind myself of where I don't want to go.
Things are going well. The Beasty is recovering nicely. She pulls at her sutures sometimes but stops when threatened with the Collar of Doom* but in the end she may have to wear it. mas_verde spent the night last night because of trouble with her roommates and her lazy-ass (hopefully ex) boyfriend. Yeah I said it Lindsey, dump him! Benny really really likes her. Which is seriously funny because Lindsey's not such a big fan of cats. Benny slept with her last night on the couch which I find pretty cute and a little funny. I'd be a little sad but it's starting to get hot and lately she has this annoying habit of sleeping ON me instead of next to me. Normally I'd just push her off but I don't want to hurt her so I have to all gentle and she refuses to budge. So last night, Lindsey got to deal with it.
My photography class is almost over. The final exam is next Thursday. I really am enjoying it but I'm freaking tired so I'm kind of glad to see it end. I'm kind of fascinated by photography. I don't know if that's what I want to pursue but it's extremely interesting.
Today I stopped by the athletic club and joined, yay! My goal is to go M-F in the mornings and swim. My immediate goal is to start tomorrow. I need to call them though and find out when the best time to go is. Meaning when will I be alone? I'm kind of excited to finally belong there because I really need some structure in my workout routine. If I don't, it's far too easy to get lazy like I'm being now.
I talked to my dad the other day who is not able to help with a ticket up to Montana for Heather's wedding. So I'm thinking prostitution. Any thoughts? No seriously, I'll work it out. Maybe my grandma will offer since she did last summer. And if not I don't have to be there. That's what Heather gets for being in such a hurry to get married. Sheesh! No consideration for the people who have to travel long distances. His family lives in Canada too! I hope they're able to make it.
Okay, I'm finished. This is really boring but I can't even be bothered to fix it right now. :|
