I had a gastro scope today and they took a picture of my small intestine and the Dr says there is only a slight sign of gastritis, an inflammation of the stomach lining. He took 6 or 8 biopsies and will check for any serious illness that could have caused my vomiting, he is not convinced I ever had a peptic ulcer as the original scope did not entail any pictures being taken and the attending surgeon was perhaps not very accurate in his assessment.(?!){I remember the last scope, the anesthetic didn't put my under far enough and I was fighting the scope. perhaps the Dr got in a hurry and didn't do a thorough enough job of assessing the situation}The Dr I saw today is the same Dr I saw in 1998 for a similar bout of vomiting, he thinks there is a connection and wants to rule out syliacs (sp?) or cancer, just in case. But in the mean time, I shall keep to my healthy diet, continue to take natural supplements to assist in dealing with acid production, and do my best to keep doing my best. I had my bi-annual PAP smear yesterday (what a name!) so soon I will be waving around a clean bill of health, got all my STD tests too, just to be absolutely certain. Damn I'm responsible! Now if I meet Mr awesome I can be sure I am safe, so I can make him go get tested too, giving us a few weeks of courting time before sex, LOL, got it all planned out. {there's a cutie on th horizon too - more on that later}My ankle is 99%, I can cross country ski! And for you Folk lovers out there, check out Dar Williams, in particular listen to The Baby Sitter's Here and When Christians Sit With Pagans, do it, NOW! I love you, peace out. Snowfaery
