Current Conditions
Hi All, life is good. I am living in a nice place, Not fabulously nice, but decent, I have a big room, a pretty yard that includes a river and a lovely garden. I pay about 425 for all inclusive, and I get the master bedroom with soak-er tub and private bathroom. My roommate is a jolly senior guy who looks like Jerry Garcia and Santa Clause-seriously. He is home all day and loves my dogs. I've been here about 3 years I think. The down side is the house manager, a woman who lives on the property and wants to micro manage all aspects of the area. She is OK in her own way and I can get along with her, but she makes me crazy and as I look around it seems perhaps I could get cheaper rent with less drama and more sanitary conditions (water and carpets are bad here). I am not in a rush at all, I have lots of time and do not want to be gone till after the new year (She has been threatening to go away for a couple months and I want to enjoy that, LOL)
So my criteria are: near walking trails and/or lots of property, near a river, (easy walking distance)good water, (the water here is bad) my own space including bathroom, low stress roommate that I enjoy being around, and equal or less rent, 325 would be great. And my reputation and connection base in this town should make this very easily attainable.
