sick day
stayed home from work today. Got up, got out of bed, got in the shower, still felt like crap. I have to decide by 545 whether to call for a sub and about 540 I thought you know what? I havent taken a day off in forever and clearly I'm not in any mood/condition to go to work (felt like I was going to throw up) so I called in sick. Then I called my jazz kids to tell them there was no rehearsal. Of course at that point I started to feel at least a little bit better. I guess a big part of it was stress. Not to say that I felt fine all day, stomach is still a little off and I had the worst headache for most of the day. It was nice to be able to sleep on the couch for a couple hours, went to the bank - my only 30 minutes out of the house all day - and get a little cleaning up done (although not as much as I would like) I also updated MyMoney which I have decided I'm going to be better about keeping track of, otherwise I'm going to go broke - last months credit card bill didnt help! I guess if I actually want to go on these trips - to see Roger and Tristan and then to Michigan/Boston this summer I better stop spending money big time. Airfare is NOT cheap and then of course food and things while I'm there. Goal: credit card bill under $1000 a month. I think I can handle that. The other goal: more money into savings from my paycheck.
Three days in the week left, basketball game tomorrow (got out of one today!) and of course its Valentine's Day. Ah the years where I had someone on Valentines day. Not that I need to! Just that it would be nice since its been... 3 years? Junior Year of college... yeah it would be nice. Sigh...
Well I guess thats about it. Oh my kitty has conjunctivitis which of course is no fun because I have to give her drops and amoxicilian which she hates and since I have basketball tomorrow night and wont be home until Thursday night my gradnparents are going to come over tomorrow night and Thursday morning to do that for me - they are the best!
Also, $21 from coinstar that I put to iTunes gift certificate, yay for not just having a bag of pennies anymore. Thoughts on what I should download?
