Ah, teaching!
Yesterday was the first day of the fall semester. A couple of highlights:
McKenzie walked into voice class, and Brooke stopped singing (she wasn't mid-song or anything), turned around and said "Hey, McKenzie!! You got braces! You're so cute!" in her comedic way. Big smiles came to McKenzie's face. It reminded me that this voice class is a good thing; I like seeing my students bond with each other.
Sarah K.'s mom and I were debating whether to start voice lessons or not; in the end, she decided to go for it, and Sarah has a beautiful voice (great tone!) with which I get to work. :)
