I made some more projects from Tease.
Here's a purse made from T-shirts. One side:
A T-shirt from UWF.
The other side:
This T-shirt is from my Girl Scout troop. In 1991, when I was 11, we went to Tallahassee, our state's capital, and some surrounding areas. We had a T-shirt design contest or something, and my design "won." It's a bit of a ripoff from The Little Mermaid, but whatever. So this bag is, like, double DIY since I made the bag and I also designed the shirt. Awesome.
Here's a hoodie I made from a vintage sweatshirt I had. I liked the design, but the shirt was so big I never wore it because it was unflattering, and the neckline was all stretched out. So I took it in, split it down the front, and added the zipper and hood from a Wal-Mart hoodie.
Here's another project from the same pattern in the book. For this one, I used a T-shirt I got the guys at the magazine to give me before I left, and I added the buttons and collar from a cowboy-style shirt that, again, was cute but too big to wear:
Gotta love T-shirt surgery, yo.
