well the fact that past employers are revealing it is against eoe act all they need to know is your female your looking for a job and that you have not committed any crimes other then that they are going against the eoe act I did not enough hiring and firing in my last job they need to watch what they are revealing. Actually, they were really cool about it. The problem is that my former employers typically don't know I transitioned and my current name, so I have to out myself to one or the other. To date, its had nothing to do with discrimination. It's more about me getting absolutely 0 say in outing myself as part of the employment process.
um...too much eye makeup? what is this "too much eye makeup" of which you speak? you have to see me on a day when i actually get up on time and in a good mood and i look pretty for a change (and don't you dare start on natural beauty and blah blah blah. i just took my makeup off at my desk and thankfully had my philosophy cream in my bag. that, and i'm still the hottest girl here. holla.)
just to clarify - you do not look like a "shitty" anything. period. not even in a swimming costume and sweats, much less so in teeny-tiny skirt and big boots and wings too!
p.s. - don't retire your costume. i still have a birthday and i have a definite flair for the dramatic...
haha... the black angel wings are in the back window of my car to strike fear in the people i cut off and discourage ideas of retribution. so yeah... costume, TOTALLY not getting retired... i mean it was fucking awesome... it's just the sort of thing that has limited usage without being arrested for prostitution.
Well, if the employers are worth their salt it shouldn't be an issue. And maybe the fact that you work for a school during the day will reflect positively.
