After reading laurelin_kit's investigative work on kamikazekitty, I checked, and yep, I'm one of her hundreds of random friends. I left a message on one of her more recent public posts and asked her to defriend me because I didn't know her and found her writing style irritating. "Linkster"? Seriously, now.
She sent me a message just now:
"Then don't read my writing. It's as simple as that. The only people who appear on your friends page are people you yourself have friended. This is a public site. I'll friend whoever I damn well please. Thanks."
So, at least she was polite. And I agree, in theory, that she ought to be able to friend whoever she wants, but it irritates me that she's clearly just going around adding friends from Cleo's page, just so she can up her numbers. She's never commented on a single post of mine.
Is there a way to block someone from your journal, short of going all f-locked?
