Hacked at this world's magic system tonight. It's kind of exciting--no one can be quite an island unto themselves and get too many things done, and I think it will end up creating a good bit of interpersonal conflict to have to do a lot of magic in teams of very different people. Today was good. ... especially when it eats an hour's worth of research and then helpfully restores two totally blank documents. Just saying.

Some days I wish that there was no professional ethic which said I cannot dish people by name in public places. I want to be exempt from the rules of libel and never have to reap what I've sown.  But, alas for the brash voices in my head, the philosophical voice and the linear voice both say that this too shall pass and not to blog about it.

I plotted 23 more scenes in Geohexaes, making 34 plotted so far. I’m estimating that I’ll need around 80 scenes, so I’ve plotted about 40%. Of course, it’s the second half where things get tricky.
