i wish i still lived close to the bay area, so that i could be at gay pride this weekend. i miss how much fun that was.
a lot on my mind right now. #1, world cup. i woke up at 8 this morning and am currently watching the england vs. ecuador game. i always try to route (or root?) for the underdog (ecuador, in this case) but england has been more dominant with most possesion, and i am just waiting for them to score their goal. (0-0 right now). #2, i am leaving for france, for a year in august. i guess it's just hitting me lately. i need to start preparing myself, not only mentally but linguistically also. starting reading harry potter in french, or something. i guess a french newspaper too. french news, meh, kinda important. #3, i not only need to, but really want to start working out at the gym regularly. i start summer school tomorrow, which is a morning english class monday-thursay. i will also be working 5 days a week, mon-fri (~28 hrs). this can give me som regiment, and i can plan to go to the gym at the same time everyday. and it's not even entirely about looking fit, but mostly about feeling healthy again. when i played varsity in high school, i was so energetic and fun, and now i just feel sluggish, and i think it's starting to weigh on me emotionally. so after england wins this game, i am going to the gym and.....oh shit...i just missed their goal while writing this. damn you livejournal.
IT WAS BECKHAM! and how cute, they showed posh in the stands during the play back, and she got SO excited.
oh now, i am turning into a british tabloid. i am leaving.
