I feel like I should post about Christmas, etc., but I don't really have much to say. Family celebration on Christmas Eve? Lovely. Church? Great. Christmas Day? Totally low-key and nice. My birthday? Kind of a bummer, because of the snow -- planned fancy dinner rescheduled to later this week. The day after that? SNOW DAY.
My family has cut way back on gift-giving, which I greatly appreciate. I've pretty much given everyone a book for years, and sometimes felt awkward getting an outfit back. But getting books back is awesome! And they all look good -- just one I already own. I'm currently reading My Year of Living Biblically (I think is the name) about the guy who decides to follow as many of the rules in the bible as literally as possible? It's really interesting.
I think I'm going to track my reading again in 2011. Since I stopped reading on my commute, I don't know if I'll even crack 50 books, which is kind of a bummer. But now I'm curious.
Anyway, now I'm back at work, "looking forward" to four more days of my boss being here, and trying to gear up for all the crap that will likely fall on me in her absence.
