I hadn't really worried about her taking over so much until I found out that he's had 4 cancer surgeries.

there's a lot more to worry about than that, my friend.
Look her up.

Eeh.. my comment was more in the context of McCain dying while in office and having her take over.

She's a disease.

I've finally had to decide to take a break from keeping up on this election to keep my sanity. It's been a daily research-fest for me until this week. Even now it's been hard to avoid.

But that wouldn't help anything.
The only responsible and truly patriotic thing to do would be to rise up as a disenchanted people against a government that no longer serves the needs of its people.

Empires are apt to collapse its the only way that they fall. The revolution will come, unfortunately no matter who wins. we will only stave it off for a while with Obama. Our politicians and our government have their fingers in to many pies to get hands on with the public, and it will take more then revolution to change that. Look at France. They had a revolution and all they did was trade a monarchy for an empire that failed less then 50 years after it began.
The only real change comes from deeper within. which is where I agree with you. Only when we all wake up and realize that there is something wrong in our nature will things get going. Until then its only bloodshed for vengeance sake.

and that is why I would move.

addendum:
Even if the bloodshed is metaphorical

The fact that there is still a very strong chance that they could win this election is nightmarish in and of itself. This country is falling apart & another four years for Republican policy mixed with the "Joe six-pack" mentality of Palin will sound a death-knell on the country we have taken for granted for so long. You are right, that article should be required reading for voters, no matter for which side they vote.

I agree, have you seen Palin's awful support of the aerial hunting of wolves and bears in Alaska to eliminate the natural predators of Caribou and Moose so there are more than naturally would be - to attract more hunting in the region? www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXpGn1EqTU8

I will say this though, about American's being complacent and "voting" for Bush... I don't think he won any election. I do think a lot of people voted for him, but I'm convinced Al Gore won 2000 and Kerry (who I dislike) won 2004. I think he and his neocon cronies in Skull & Bones, Bilderberg & PNAC took dictatorial control to carry out their own agenda.

the reason I like Obama is that, he wasn't supposed to win in the primary season. Both Clinton and McCain were puppets for a NWO agenda, they weren't counting on Americans to care, to seek information and discover a new candidate who they agreed with - Obama. He isn't perfect, he has even said this, but he's our best chance at changing things.
