Ever since yesterday afternoon, I've had this sickening, pit-of-the-stomach feeling that the hurricane is headed straight for New Orleans.
It would be disastrous. I remember reading a T-P story (I still have it somewhere at work) about how if a Category 5 hits, the bowl that is New Orleans would fill up. Many feet of water standing in the Quarter. Bunches of casualties. Water supply tainted for months and months.
I hope my stomach's wrong.
