I'm very glad this Valentine's Day crap is in the past now. (Well, for this year, anyhow.) Granted, it wasn't as hard on me as it usually is - cheesy as it may be, it did help to remember that while I may not have any of that pesky overrated romantic love in my life, I do still have plenty of people who care about me, and that....that definitely counts for something.
What have I been up to lately? Um...not much. Trying to work a bit on QI, and wasting more time than I probably should on random concepts for mysteries. (Without a writing partner I'll never finish anything but it still amuses me.) As far as I can tell, there is not a single job opening anywhere in town. Might have to go against what the counselor said about getting job experience before the move after all, terrifying as that may be. Oh, if only I could actually make a living doing things I actually have some degree of interest in....
Attention, Psych: You're not getting much mileage out of pretending we care about these characters' love lives. Not at all.
I hope I get something interesting to talk about soon. Preferably something with explosions! And monkeys!
