*the story so far (guaranteed to repeat itself)*

I’ll never understand how time goes so quickly. As Coley beautifully put it: “We never see the car drive by until it’s gone… and then we see the tail lights fading off into the distance” ~ or something like that. Speaking of tail lights, the first official SPK cruise was Friday night. Such a feeling, walking to Melissa's car, climbing into that backseat, and knowing that it was the very first of an all-out SPK trip. It was so wonderful~ feeling for the first time like we've actually grown up and getting "that unspoken feeling" that us SPK will always be together =) We followed those beautiful rides up with chill time at Ange's and a jam session at Kyle's~ and we were doin those drums up (nah... we were terrible). Saturday night was a wonderful night with Brock, and last night I took him to Dairy Queen for ice cream~ my first hit of the season there, and they best be expecting lots more.

*Of all the things I've ever been told in history class, one thing Mr. McCue said has stuck in my mind, and it said something of this effect: "People tend to ignore the past instead of studying it, and don't realize until it is too late that history repeats itself". Props Mr. McCue. The conclusion that this is eerily true has been reached. If you think about it, you've probably made the same moves over and over again. And even if they are mistakes, it's necessary for you to make them. If you don't risk it all, then you have nothing worth risking to begin with because the best oppurtunities come with the biggest sacrifices. And I'll leave it at that, for all you kiddos to think about and decide for yourselves.
