Well, today was a very very long day...

Only one lecture, but inconveniently at 11am, so I felt I had to get up early, but it wasn't late enough to fill up my day! My first lab report was also due in at 4pm today, so that was an exciting event.

I managed to completely write out my lab report, including the 10 very challenging questions...my day started with a text from Nikki, my chem buddy who lives downstairs, saying "help!!" - I invited her over (as I was sitting with a bowl of cereal watching Bargain Hunt) to talk chemistry, and we both helped each other answer all the questions on the sheet. Aren't two brains better than one!

The law lecture I had today was incredibly dull. I was so tired that I looked down at my notepad at the end of the session and realised that I'd taken down two pages of completely incoherent notes, I had no idea where any of them came from.

I decided it was time for lunch after that. Pitta bread, hummus, and green pepper...mmm.

I spent two hours writing my five page lab report, hoping that it is sufficient, I'll find out on Monday when our tutor (Gareth) gives them back to us. I'm not hoping for miracles on my first piece of proper university work; hopefully there will be some pointers on it that will enable me to do better next time. I hope I explained my ideas okay!

I had two dinners today - all I seem to do right now is eat and work. After watching Family Guy for two hours, Byron and I decided to make cheesy garlic chips at about half 4, and then Kat and I made Thai chicken and couscous at 7, to line our stomachs for the night out. We then all went out for Hannah #1's birthday. It was a mix of clubs and pubs, inevitably ending up in a kebab shop (where I pinched many of Kayne's chips). Unfortunately for some, 9am starts seem abundant for tomorrow morning - glad mine's at 11!

Laura's gone home for the weekend, and Naomi is off tomorrow as well - will be quiet over the next couple of days, but hopefully that'll be some opportune time for me to write revised lecture notes. And pop into Brighton to book tickets to go and see The Fratellis on October 30th...

Is the Vagina Monologues still on for the 4th November?

And now, some photos for your entertainment!
