Perpetual confusion

Good news, I survived the first week of classes. This is the first semester that I had to change around my schedule though. Ye gods, what a fucking circus! In other news, I've decided to volunteer at the local non-profit zoo, which is about ten minutes or so from the university. It's about damn time I got some relevant experience, and this place comes with some really good recommendations. Besides, they have all sorts of big and medium cats. They have a liger, for fuck's sake! The place is really hands on in it's approach too, since none of the animals can ever be released, and they want to have them as adjusted as possible to humans. Anyway, if it wasn't obvious, I'm kinda stoked about this. I'm only in school for the credentials. What I really want is to work with animals directly, either in a zoo or preserve setting, or through conservation programs, so this will be ideal.

Now all I have to do is survive the semester...
