I've been lazy, but what else is new?
School is in less than a week and I'm dreading it. I hope there will be new kids. This summer sucked pretty much but I would rather stay at home doing nothing than learn. Yeah, I'm a winner.
A week ago was the 92 cent show that I paid 20$ err 15$ to go to. Heh, what a rip off but I love My Chemical Romance. 5th time and I never get tired of 'em. I didn't pay much attention to the new drummer 8-/ Kill Radio were alright. I think the singer was on something. Ahh, Coheed & Cambria... Jess and I stood on the side of the stage for them most of the time. The crowd participation was overwhelming. I knew a few songs but I never really liked them too much. I guess the crowd eased me.
Saturday-Amanda slept over. I don't remember what we did.
Sunday-Went with my mom, Amanda, and her mom to Pennsylvania. We just drove there with no real destination and finally decided on going to Bushkill Falls. They had hiking trails so we followed them for awhile. The scenery was nice and there were double rainbows everywhere. We sat by the lake for awhile then drove around again. On the way home, we stopped at a diner. It was the worst diner food I have ever had.
Monday-I had to stay at my grandma's and watch her. UGGGH that sucked. My sister brought the kids over so I played with them. She took me back with her. Off we went to hang out with her boyfriend. I finally got to meet him. Geez he's ugly... and old. Nothing special about him besides the money. He's alright personality-wise I guess. In the car on the way to the gym, he put in a Slipknot cd, threw up the rock fingers or whateverthefuck it's called, and started headbanging... After the work out, we went to eat. Their food sucked and mine didn't 8-D We went back to his place which is really nice and watched the Olympics. BMWs are hot shit. I want one.
Tuesday-Went with Ela to watch the kids. We had to watch their freind too. Jake Gyllenhaal was on Ellen and I said to her, "See, why don't you date someone who looks like him and is young?" "Why? He's ugly." "Are you kidding? Wow, you really do have bad taste in guys. Poor thing." She took me home afterwards.
Wednesday-The first show I have been to where none of the bands had lead singers. That was actually good. Uhh, I think every hardcore guy in the area was there. Ratio of girls to guys: 3 to 10. The Death Of A Celebrity were better than I expected. Fear Before The March Of Flames were incredible. The new songs sounded great; much heavier too. I got to scream along quite a few times. A Life Once Lost were really good except for the fact that every time the singer walked by the people in the front, we had to lean back 'cause he was going crazy. Half way through their set, the crowd pushed everyone to the sides to make the largest pit I've ever seen in Krome, especially for the lounge. It went from the bathrooms/merch almost to the bar. There was no one in front of the stage. It stayed that way for The Red Chord but with more people running on stage. Their drummer was insanely fast. I didn't like their vocals too much but everything else was good. They made everyone do this thing where we chanted "Ohmmm" and threw our arms up but I wasn't doing it. The bassist gave me this look so I laughed and did it. I'm pretty sure we were praising the devil. He saw me after the show outside and thanked me for doing it. If you combined him with one of their guitarists, they err he would look like Jesus... Evergreen Terrace were last. I knew a few songs. I like them a lot more now. I thought they were good live. It was a really good show. Going alone doesn't bring me down too much since I've been doing that for awhile. Only between bands it's a bit awkward where I'd feel like a loser but I'm there for the music. Although it would be nice to have someone to talk to.
Thursday-Had to watch my grandmother again. Her house smells really bad. This day sucked worse because I stayed there from 7-7. It made me get sick of television. I had to mow her massive lawn too and my mom made me wash the car. Blah.
Today I did nothing. Yay.
Fuck WinMX. I found a new love. It is called SoulSeek. I downloaded the new Converge album in less than ten minutes. I've tried downloading the program before but it never worked. I'm happy now. I really hope I get to see them. I'm pretty sure they use a xylophone or something similar sounding in the last song. It's fucking crazy.
