graduation speech

Three weeks ago I completed my last final exam. Two weeks ago I attended my graduation ceremony and celebrated that evening. One week ago I packed up everything that I could fit into my Ford Escape and drove 600 miles back home to NJ. Today I celebrate everything that I've worked for these past 5 years. It's so odd looking back on the person I was when I left for college... even odder how much I've changed since then. In several ways I feel like I'm picking right back up from where I left off, but in other ways it's amazing to think about how much things have changed.... how differently I view the world now. Many have come and gone and I am grateful for the ones who have been there all along. Today is a day for celebrating everything that I've accomplished not only in an academic sense, but also the life lessons that I have learned that have shaped me into an individual who not only has a BA in Psychology, but as a well-rounded individual entering the workforce. For the first time in my life, I'm not exactly sure which path I'm headed down in life, but knowing that I've successfully accomplished everything thus far, I know I can conquer anything!
