s'more saturday thoughts..
this week was so hard. my co-teacher walked out on the job on tuesday afternoon, after a meeting we had with our boss. the story is long and complicated and i am not going to get into it on the internet.. needless to say, it was a difficult afternoon. the rest of the week wasn't any easier. luckily i had amy helping me .. but as great of a help as she is, the kids were still totally nuts. its like they can sense that something is off.. and they do things so out there that they literally NEVER do .. (the best example that comes to mind is two boys who decided to throw a bunch of paper towels into the sinks, clogging the drain and nearly flooding the sinks)..
also, the day after my co-teacher left, i got a really bad cold. i could barely breathe out of my nose .. but of course i couldnt' call in sick to work, because we were already short on teachers.
but, i made it through the week.. and hopefully next week will be a little easier.
today i bought a new vacuum! it looks like this:
its lime green and sparkly! i am pretty much in love with it. it actually inspired me to clean for the last few hours .. yeah!
my friend laura takes photographs and she just put a whole bunch of them up on a website! go look ..
