Went to the NY Comic con today. there was screening for Friday the 13th, Terminator Salvation and the Watchmen. The producers of F13th were there and answers questions in addition to showing us the first 5 minutes of the movie. It looks like they're going for actual scares not cheese and cheap gotcha moments. this trailer for the dark knight is titled The Dark Knight The Joker. It's the original TDK trailer as modified by the Joker. confused? you'll get it. This is easily one of the best trailers I have ever seen. The footage is occasionally screwed up, but get thru it. It's wonderful.

The Saw series is one where you really can't watch any of the sequels unless you've seen the films that preceed it. And that's fine because only someone who has seen the first 4 and really enjoyed them will like part V.

I have some classic stuff on my netflix list, stuff that someone of my interests and age should've seen by now. One is Scanners, a Croneberg classic. Michael Ironside is fantastic as Revok. In fact he would be perfect in it today if they ever made a remake. I actually think a remake would not only work, it could work as a tv series too, ala Heroes ( Read more... )

I think for guys of my age, maturaity and general interests, there are certain films you're supposed to have seen by now, and The Evil Dead trilogy is probably on that list.
