Wow. TheFacebook.com is having a National Beirut (pronounced "Bay-root," but we all call it Beer Pong here) Championship Tournament. In order to play in the Tournament you have to be a part of Facebook at your college. Soooooo, today I just paid the $10 registration fee, and Foote and I are partners! Registration closes on Feb. 2nd, so if anyone else is gonna sign up, better make it fast.
Rules for their Tourney:
-Play with 10 cups, filled w/ 3 beers total
-Rerack at 6, 3, and 1
-if bounce and make, it's 2 cups
-if both players make their shots in the same turn, they get balls back
-if both players make it in the final cup, game's over
-if both teams make the last cup, you play a 3 cup overtime, using 1 beer total
-Games are best 2 out of 3
Facebook will tell you who you're playing, but it's up to you to schedule the time and place, which could be difficult. I'm reeeeeeally excited, though. I think it'll be a lot of fun. The winner of every college campus gets a $500 prize and gets to go to New York City to face off against the other college winners for a $10,000 prize!
