People like to fight wars. War against Terror, War against Descrimination, War against "The Man", War against war, and ,the ever popular, War against Normalcy. War and epic battles and heros are part of what it means to be human. We are always searching for enemies, be they people, or concepts. Even pacifists fight a war against violence. This is what causes people to flock towards epic movies like LOTR.
