A high minimum wage law for a "living wage" would not work. Lets take an example. Say you are a burger flipper for McDonalds, and they are now forced to pay you 10 dollars an hour thanks to Mr.Cobb. The following could happen.
1. You are laid off and replaced with a machine.
2. The company is forced to raise their already exorbitant prices. 20$ for a burger? yeah right. Mcdonalds goes out of bussiness, and all of their employies go bye-bye.
