Wah haven't updated this bad boy in ages. Well it's the holidays now. Been spending the last couple of weeks power nua-ing at home. Aside from a few cookouts, multiple celebrations of Zongkai's birthday, and several bridge nights, I have done the following over the past 2 weeks:
1) Swimming on alternate days.
2) Watching truckloads of DVDs.
3) Playing a lot of Heroes.
4) Watching late night NBA games.
Chilling out after a frenetic term is simply awesome. Nothing beats nua-ing. Although I think I'm going to get bored of doing this pretty damn soon. Need to add some mahjong to break up the monotony haha. And maybe should start organising my notes in preparation for mugging for collections.
Well Easter plans are almost non-existent. Aside from a one-week UK visit by my sis, and spending the last week of the break studying, my plan for the next two weeks simply involves the above 4 activities + some mahjong + whatever else I can think of. Getting warmer, finally, so I should start running again as well. Feeling a bit sian to travel, for some reason. Maybe it was the 16 day Italy marathon. So I shall save $$ in preparation for awesome Greece summer trip.
It's been 6 months since I was last home, and I'm starting to feel it. Can't believe it's been a whole half year already. And there's still a good 11-12 weeks more before the return. I think I'm going to start dreaming of bakchormee again soon, which a) isn't conducive and b) makes me wake up hungry. At least I have access to curry and laksa and rendang nowadays, thanks to good friend Prima. But still. Can't wait to go home to the land of late-night suppers with old friends. Can't believe how many 21st parties I'm missing man. Sianjipua.
Think I might seriously consider going home for the next Xmas break. Then again, with the guys starting uni this year, overseas friends probably staying overseas, and the girls going into 3rd year mode, there may not be anyone left to hang out with.
On another note, Kobe's streak of 65-50-60-50-43 has been simply awesome to watch. Quite strange that his latest output of 43 points was actually disappointing, when with any other player it would have been impressive. Still, the Lakers are 38-32 and there's a ways to go yet.
Ahh back to nua-ing.
