I just want to say that one of the most exciting parts about waiting for posting was seeing which fic was chosen to remix and I was pleasantly surprised at your choice. It is one of my favorites and I got the warm fuzzies when I saw which it was. I LOVED getting Massu’s POV and I think you did a wonderful job of preserving the feelings of the first but giving a different insight and I totally loved every word.

He’d hated those years of testing and counselling and watching his mother get more and more distressed at his ‘problem’. She used to tell him all the time that she was doing it for him. That she wanted him to experience all those things in life that he was missing out on. How it upset her that he couldn’t enjoy the world like a normal child.

God, how he had resented that.
THIS was PERFECT. I want to cuddle you senseless right now.

He really wondered if his world was more elegant than theirs.What beautiful wording. I loved this whole section and how you added in how his sister had been the only one of his family that

I just have to say that this fic really touched me ^^
With such a simple thing as being color-blind, of all colors, Massu gets to see a world that no one does, and that's a really unique concept :D

“Do you miss Spain?” Massu had asked in response.
I think this is an interesting way of phrasing "You can’t miss what you don’t know.
It definitely had a Massu feel to it :)

I love how Tegoshi's the one to find out, but somehow, Shige's the one who really makes Massu comfortable about it.
Omgosh, the whole scene with the pictures is excellent! I love that we get to see a little RyoPi too ^^

And then the ending; that's true member-ai ♥
I freaking love the intricate details you added in there, especially how the members suggested costumes with shapes rather than by color, that's cool! Food/treats instead of postcards; I think that's genius- thinking up ways to help someone who's color-blind ^^

lol, I just realized the 'Spain' line is from the original, but hey, that's still cool! :)

Oh, but I wanted to add: Massu's color-blindedness would explain why he's always so super-fun-weird-random color-coordinated costumes :P

I like the original story as well and I must say that I love how this is re-written from Massu's side. When reading the original one, it's hard to imagine how Massu actually feels, I mean the possibility is wide and while it's a good thing to imagine it by myself, it's sweet to read something like this.
