As I usually do I read the original before I read the remix. And I am so in love with the way you transformed this fic; the original set up an amazing premise which you ran away with and created something extremely special. ♥

Thank you. *beams* I was so worried because I kind of feel like maybe I added far too much and went too far outside the original scope of the fic, but... I figured there wasn't any wrong way of doing a remix. ^^

Oh dear god, PHEW. *falls over in sheer relief* I was so worried that it would be hated because I went so far out over the scope of the original fic, but it just... It really inspired me and I had to expand on it and make a backstory and well... It kind of ran away from me in the end and grew more than I had thought it would. XD

WHERE DO I EVEN START.

Um, okay... First things first, I guess. I really loved your characterization of Jin. I feel like that's exactly how I see him in this 'verse. When I first saw Matchy's prompt, I thought it might be interesting to switch it around and have Jin as this calm, collected musician who actually ends up saving samurai Kame instead of the other way around. So in a way, everything kind of stemmed from this image of him, so seeing him fleshed out so beautifully was a real treat.

His background fit so well, too, and just alksnlakng oh, Jin. ;_; And the two of them meeting as children alsknlakgn OF COURSE, NE. THEY ARE TOTALLY MEANT TO BE ( ... )

Oh my. This is stunning. I remember thinking how I wished gothicauthor would expand the original, but what you've done here is take the fic and made it your own. One of my favourite things is how you've shown us Jin's past, given his character more depth and perhaps in a way shown just why he took Kame with him. And your Kame is lovely--young and reckless and yet old too, at the same time. And their relationship is lovely to see, slow and sweet and soft, and perfectly fitting to the tone of the story.

I just really adored this, and I'm so happy gothicauthor pimped it :)

I went and snuck a peek at what else you've written and saw you'd written one of my favourite jthreesome fics, and this just cements my view that you are a very talented writer :) ♥!

♥ Thank you so much. :) I was really nervous about this fic, especially for expanding so much on the original, but I don't regret doing it. The original really was inspiring and seemed to just beg for more backstory and a continuation of where it left off.

Hee, I tend to pop up randomly during fic exchanges, but apart from that I'm pretty low profile when it comes to fics. But I'm definitely happy that people like (and actually remember!) the stuff that I write. ^_^
