I wanted to chat for a bit about Vampire Knight, whose first volume came out recently and proceeded to outsell new volumes of One Piece and Black Cat. (See hereVampire Knight is an uber-shoujo vampire/romance/drama manga. I stumbled across it in Lala, the mangabon that publishes Host Club, and started following it a bit.

Personally, if Yuki was a guy and it were an all boys school, it would probably be my favorite manga. but it replaced the very slashable Godchild series in Shojo Beat's serilazation, so I refuse to like it XP

I can't really get into Godchild! I started reading it, and there are aspects of it I like, but I haven't been able to bring myself to buy past volume 2-- it just feels like there's so much more for me to spend my money on :/

Though of course, I'm totally okay with het romances, so that adjusts my mindset a bit ;) Though Vampire Knight is far from UN-slashable, to be sure.

Oh man I love GodChild, vol 4 was out today! anyways...I just got into Vampire Knight mostly cuz I saw a pic of Kaname and DAMN!!! Ive read vol 1 but all the other scanlations I found of vol 2-5 sucked so Ill have to wait.
