Again, I've more than likely missed the deadline but dammit, I want to take this family to the end!
Last time:
Etta met and became a vampire
Arnor grew up and no one cared
Leif became quite a scary toddler
Sigrun and Leif grew up
As did Runa and her and Sigrun's combined cuteness nearly killed me
So to start here's some pictures I forgot to put in the last update. Here's teen!Arnor. I hate to say it but he's just... there. He's nothing special. Maybe it was my clone paranoia that turned me off but meh. :\
Tyr got his LTW!
Then a storm came and the stone fairy statue outside the house got struck by lightning and bursted into flame.
Whoa, whoa Kleenex calm down, it's just a fire, get the extinguisher and...
Kleenex: Why is the statue on fire!? It isn't flammable, the lightning bolt should've destroyed not ignite it!
Ah that's why you're freaking out. Yeah that is weird...
Thankfully Kleenex was able to put out the fire and restore the natural world.
Just like any other teen knowledge sim, Runa immediately rolls the want to get that abduction scholarship.
I will admit that I may have developed some serious love for her!

Several no reactions and a couple hours later...
I kind of wished Runa got Tyr's eyes just for this. XD
The next day, the girls run off downtown to find some future spouse material. Runa rolled gay and Sigrun rolled bi via ACR.
Runa finds the very adorable Whimsome Noupe (bondchick_nett).
While Sigrun finds the very strong Olaf Krogstad (pinkposeysims).
Both girls however didn't fare too well.
Sigrun: B-But I have gold, isn't that what every good viking wants!?
*Facepalm* Sigrun, how about not taking the "Am I rich" route, for all you know next week I could roll the internet scam challenge.
Runa however tries to take the Not-So-Subtle-Subtle Approach.
Sigrun proceeds to give up for now.
And I show my fondness for taking odd non-related pictures.
Runa met Whimsome again at another lot... it didn't go well.

It's Monday, I'm sorry to anyone who wanted Etta to stay a vampire.
Oh Etta I love you, I'm almost sorry that I'm not letting you keep your immortality.
Man it feels really weird to see her with her regular skintone again.
I'm sure that Ash is happy to have his live-in girlfriend alive again.
So guess what challenge I rolled again. I determined to not fail this time!

Then Runa proceeded to freak me the hell out by disappearing in the electro-sphere! I was honestly kind of scared. D:
Thankfully Runa came back to us safely. I think I remember reading something about this happening if your sim is abducted... eh I don't remember. Runa's okay so panic over.
It seems also that this experience has made her stronger.
Sigrun, meanwhile, runs into Jinnee (chitina_sims). I was tempted to have Sigrun try to flirt it up with her but I would like some variety.
Okay I will that I might have had bit of a bias towards Runa.
Bwah! Kleenex! D: Poor man, *hugs*.

Sigrun may be a cutie with alien eyes but Runa... Runa's just cute.

Birthday time for Leif!
He seems to be a pretty decent mix of his dads. I'm glad. :)

Then Blackbird starts making the moves on Sigrun. Mmmm, as adorable as Blackbird is, I really don't want another generation of black hair. :\

Two adult men (one of whom is Carrot-Stick Behr) cheering a teen boy on at karaoke, yup we're at a bar.
The next day, Runa tries her luck with Whimsome, it seems to be going a bit better.
Then comes Remember Lower (bondchick_nett). Heh, two Nett sims in the same picture, I'm sure somewhere some secretmaker is just seething with rage.
I sent Sigrun to come down to try to court him.
Mission Complete! They didn't beyond a few flirts but I am glad that I was able to bag some potential spouses.
So the day came for Tyr, Flynn, and Ash to grow old (Etta got some extra days due to the whole undead for a week thing). Tyr and Ash were good but Flynn needed a pick-me-up. So a quick date was needed (damn Pleasure sims).
Thank you Ms. Good Witch for providing some magic for this date.
Ah yes nothing quite like some birthday woohoo to pick a date.
And Sigrun has gotten her last charisma point and I HAVE SUCCEEDED THIS DAMN CHALLENGE!

*Sigh* Well at least Kleenex and Bekah are together now.
But now it's time to move on and put in some new old ones. (Ow, poor Flynn)

Etta: Because I heard the Homeless Shelter lost some of the donation clothes and I was just wondering...
What? You thought that just because Flynn is all old and frail that Etta would stop being a bitch. Feh, right when non-inflatable pigs fly.

See the empty lot... you can thank this week's challenge for that.
We Went to See the Wizard: your house and land has been obliterated by a tornado, and the insurance company are gypping you on your claim. Delete/bulldoze everything on your lot (you may keep sim-painted paintings, and aspiration/career rewards in a sims inventory before doing this) and flatten it to remove any and all landscaping. Its time to build a whole new house, afresh with the money remaining.
However I haven't finished making the new house yet since I decided to ship the kids off to college at this point. I was getting kind of bored and I wanted to move on to the next gen is all. So when the new heir comes home, you'll see the new house. ;D
