Semi-recent things that have happened to me worth noting:

• My BFFAEAE visited two weekends ago. It was gloriously awesome. We ate a bunch of food and burned through most of the 1st season of Nodame Cantabile and played Powerpuff Monopoly, Settlers of Catan, and Bomberman, and somewhere in there she re-taught me how to play Othello. Our 11-year-old puppy had a long evening walk at sunset with both her parents, and now we're sitting down to The Sheepman's dinner with The Usual Suspects ready to go on the PS3 in magnificent blu-ray (and man, it does look gorgeous).

A nice way to end the evening. ♥

I swear to God, Pixar is trying to break me.

I can't figure out where this one goes on my Top Pixar List, but right now it's sitting right above Monster's, Inc. (#3), maybe possibly on par with The Incredibles @#2. Tough to judge, because I'm sure I'm still coming off my post-coital-viewing-high and taking what was established in the previous two ( Read more... )

Brad Bird and Pete Docter are officially my two favorite Pixar directors.

(I wouldn't necessarily recommend seeing Up in 3D; I personally totally forgot about the 3D aspect once the film started.)

Just started Ouran Host Club today (anime) and holy crap it's awesome, I love it!

Actually, the Sheepman and I've been ingesting a lot of media lately, it feels like. (Thank Netflix.) ( This is what I have gathered from the things we have been putting into our eyes, so far. Spoiler Free! )
