So the idler pulley and the serpentine belt need replacement, both are on order. Going to cost $150 approximately. Extended warranty covers the pulley, but there is a $100 deductible, and the pulley cost runs around $95. Oh, well.

Foggy today. More of the driveway is showing. at least the asphalt.

It ended up that it would cost much more than we were willing to pay to fix the car. Let me back up. Dad basically had decided that when the truck was paid off, we'd consider replacing the car. Barely was able to limp home in the car after running errands. Brake light came on. Felt like I only had half of the brakes.
