Someone imported January weather in December.
So, the well pump froze sometime yesterday. I get home, and there is no water. One of the heat bulbs had burnt out. Replaced that. Ended up getting one of the kerosene heaters out. Took a while to thaw it out. Still had the well company come out, to check the pump out. Replaced the Schrader valve on the well tank. (The tank has air in a bladder to maintain a certain pressure.) Plus, they tightened the belt.
So, the water is nasty at the moment. Happens every time something happens to the pump or the tank. Orange water, yuck. (yes, we're quite aware that we need an iron filter. It's on the list for the bathroom renovation as soon as we can secure a contractor for it.)
Time for bed. *hugs*
