Okay.. XD I bit the bullet and made a community for my writingnesses... Here's the Levalier House. That seemed to be the neatest and most organized solution for keeping things on LJ without having to create an actual new LJ or do weird filter things ^^; From now on, all fictiony bits will be posted there, and I may or may not mention them here, so if you're interested in reading that sort of stuff, feel free to friend/join the comm :3
I've posted all my older stuff there, so unfortunately, if you go a couple days back on your friends list after friending the comm, there will be a shitload of posts XD;;... I wanted to backdate everything, but you're not allowed to backdate comm posts, apparently oO;; Very odd, that... But anyway, hopefully, between the page summary and the list of tags, everything is pretty sortable :3 If anyone has any structure-y suggestions, they're quite welcome, XD;;
In other news, my erhu arrived today :3 Which I would be much more excited about, except I managed to break the outer string immediately T_T Fortunately, there's a place in CA I found to order strings from, hopefully that means pretty fast shipment.. sigh. I can play an open note on the inner string? XD;; I think I need to apply more rosin to the bow.. since it's brand new.
Well, now, for the sake of Andelis's stories, I know what it feels like to be hit by a snapped steel string. T_T;; Right on the cuticle of my thumb! I'm glad it's not my writing hand. T_T;; As many times as I've read or seen animated the "string breaks dramatically" sort of thing, I didn't *quite* feel the need to experience it for myself... ;D
