stones taught me to fly
I need to write two article summaries but I'm just not feelin' it. I'll wake up early. Huh. Bad habits follow me from one school to the next. Consistent and predictable. Just the way I like it. Sort of.
Class today was fine, but slightly underwhelming. My stats and research classes at BSC way over prepared me for graduate school, so now I get to be bored. I hope we get to some new stuff soon.
Parker has been driving me crazy. Cats are supposed to be self sufficient...here to keep us company, not the other way around. I love him. He's just a little demanding.
I was going to keep this a secret because I feel pretty dumb. But it's too funny and Blake knows, so why not tell everybody? I don't know if it was left here by Uncle Denny or Mary or what, but there's a 1985 Jane Fonda workout video in the living room. I thought it'd be fun to try. It's actually a pretty good workout, but it's pure 80's...leg warmers and all...like a bad SNL skit. Blake came home in the middle of it and was pretty amused. So was I. It's ok. I'm doing Jane Fonda's advanced workout tomorrow. Feel free to join me.
I love my room. Too bad I don't have more people down here to share it with. Not permanently, I just want you to see my new living quarters. And I want to see you. Kill two birds with one stone. I would never intentionally kill a bird.
Enjoyed my time in Birmingham tremendously.
Thursday: Stayed at Brett's house all day, cleaned downstairs, and watched the New Orleans saga. It was a less than uplifting day. We went out to hear Drew play at 5 pts. grill/mill that night though. Jaime AND Eric were there at the same time. They shook hands. It was exciting...pfft.
Friday: Planned on working in the library at BSC but was sociable instead. It was good to see people. Baron's game that night. I will never go back to a Baron's game unless it's thirsty thursday. Jameson tried to steal the hamburger helper sign but the knife blade was too dull. Bummer.
Saturday: Alabama game = Good people watching opportunity.
Sunday: Church and Lake with family. I have a good family...extended that is. My immediate family is good too but only in segments, as in one or two members at a time.
Monday: Lake and drove to Mobile. Long drive. Don't plan on taking that trip again until October 16th for JJ's wedding, so that's good. Not at all. Seeing you would totally be worth the drive. Just say when.
