Things that made me happy - Dec 9
1. Val calling me for Google Map assistance. Who needs smart phones when you have friends!
2. Making my first ever snickerdoodles. They are for an event this weekend and next so I didn't bake them, just made up the dough, scooped it, rolled it and froze it so I can quickly throw them in the oven when I need them. ( Read more... )

1. The glow of Christmas tree lights. The one nice thing about gloomy days this time of year.
2. My dinner without a recipe turning out quite tasty. Chicken, mushrooms, Madeira and demi-glaze, it's hard to go too wrong!
3. Finishing everything on my day's to-do list.
