I Think I Converted Someone :)
I was (wasting the taxpayers hard earned dollars and) chatting with (and setting a bad example for) some of my staff in the circulation backroom earlier today. We were talking about all the celebrities that have passed away lately* and I brought up the whole "it happens in threes!" nonsense and wondered if injuries counted bc I know a minor celebrity** that got hurt recently. T asked who and I was all "oh, you prob haven't heard of him, he's an actor on CM" and she's all "CM! oh yes I would!" or something.
At which point I thought "!!!!!!!!! T - the girl who goes to raves and is always playing her nDS @ breaktime and does her best to get away with wearing street goth type clothes @ work in a liberry*** - she watches CM too!!! oooohhhh....she sooooo has to read SU." :)
And so I told her all about it. And she's all "cool! I have to check it out!" (or something)

(also, minor q for the p-nut gallery, but do I actually have to SAY this is an SU wallbreaker? or is it safe to assume that the gang will just ignore posts like this?)
*a couple hours before Michael Jackson died, two of my coworkers were talking about Farrah Fawcett and...I don't remember who...and wondering aloud "who is next?" One of them suggested - yup, you guessed it.

***as her supervisor, I appreciate that she is very good about not only asking me about anything that is borderline, but having a backup plan in case it is on the first day she wears it. as me, i iz jealous. why o why didn't i want to have blue hair back when i could get away with it? not that she has blue hair - that's NOT ALLOWED stupid county dress code, but same general idea.
