Happy 4th of July! Have some USMNT & USA hockey:
I wanted to watch Independence Day, but it wasn't on TV. I don't think this has ever happened to me. I did catch the end of 1776 at least.
Camp this year was a bit more low key than in the past- a lot of Stef's family was staying over as well, so there wasn't much drunken debauchery. The camp next to hers had a really nice firework show going though, as well as houses all across the lake. It was very pretty!
As we were going to bed, Matt tweeted that the Canucks had signed Pinizzotto. He was the first Tiger to be signed by an NHL team(in '07). He went with the Caps, but spent all of his time in Hershey. He had a couple call ups but never got to suit up. Even though he'll probably just play in Chicago, I'm pleased.
On the HP front: I finished Half Blood Prince Friday night. This weekend has been a bit too busy to start Deathly Hallows yet, but I will probably read a bit tonight. (After I watch Miracle, because it is a flawless hockey movie).
