Several months ago I stumbled upon this poem published nearly 100 years ago. I was looking for a poem or hymn to supplement the introduction to the bible Study on Nehemiah Chapters 5-7.  It has resonated deeply with me in the months since. I have leaned on Ms. Flint's words heavily these past few months. So encouraging and uplifting.

Last night I was deeply blessed to meet one of my closest friends for drinks and a deep chat. After my dear babes were slumbering in their bunks, I slipped out to The Horseshoe Pub, quite thankful for my little girls who go to bed so easily for us. The Pub was positively quaint, with a distinct hometown atmosphere.

One of the things I love about Facebook is the video clips.  I have been amused from family clips of friends to Ellen Degeneres' clip, "I love Jesus, but I drink a little."  The videos are fun.  They make me smile.

I have withheld posting anything about my Bible Study for fear that I may seem a bit "preachy" or offend anyone.  That would certainly not be my intention.  Then I considered the whole purpose for my journal is to provide a soulful outlet for myself, and it is not right that I stifle myself on my own journal.
