2 more weeks til i'm home!
So this weekend has been really awesome. First friday night was JSB and it was a total blast! good friends, good food, music, a cool slideshow, and toasts to the juniours and seniors. scott was a fun date, and of course it was fun to see eveyone all dressed up. i'm still disapointed that we couldnt walk around and see the animals. scott and I detemined that we will just get a group of people and go back for the next $2 tuesday so we can actually see the animals. woot woot!
saturday i went hiking around the gorge with some friends, and made some new ones. it was nice because it didnt get too hot because it was overcast. and just in the woods too, it was beautiful! I also went over to my friend andrea's for a mini dorm section reuinion from last year. it was nice just to talk and hang out and pray with eachother.
today the sun decided to come out and play. yay! i went to church and helped out with the kids as ususal. then i had to leave a little early to go do a party hosting job. my last one of the year woo hoo, and probably one of the best, besides the little boys star wars party. it was a 5 year old girls party and they were sooo cute! i loved playing games with them. and at the end the people thought i did such a good job that they even gave me a $5 tip sweetness!
the bummer thing about today though is that i found out that we will not be able to go to zimbabwe this year. dang it i was so looking forward to it too. but i guess its postponed til next year. oh well :( keep their country in your prayers cuz they could use it.
