Day 07 - A writer you don't like
Hmm, this is a little challenging. I have a hard time thinking of any writer that I don't like at least one or two books from. I'd have to say that the writer I like the least is Mark Twain, and there's no real reason why other than the obvious trauma I recieved in English III with Mrs. Aycock. lol. But even then, if I hadn't been forced to read his works against my will, I don't know if I would have disliked it as much. Quite challenging, indeed.
Yearbooks.
Jake was going through storage and found boxes of Dad's old stuff. Yearbooks from the 60s. O.M.G.! The blatant sexual references (Ok, sure, mine had a few of those too in the 90s, but STILL!), seeing pictures of him, Uncle Freddie and Uncle Jerry as teenagers (OMG, Jake is the exact replica of him!), his first and second girlfriends, as well as some pics of him in the annual play (1966 was The Diary of Anne Frank, apparently). And I've decided, looking through pictures, that schools haven't really changed THAT much since the 60s.
I've also learned where Jayden gets his personality from....half of the entries were like "I'm going to miss getting my bra pinched--good luck to whoever sits in front of you in English next year" and random things about pranksters, pestering and playboys.
Jake let me keep the books, I wish I had some of my Mom's!
