So annoyed, so very annoyed
We were supposed to have our new sofa set delivered today as I called and confirmed yesterday. Around 4pm I decided to call and make sure that it was still being delivered, which I was promptly informed that it wasn't and after two hours of much screaming and back and forth phonecalls, not only was it not being delivered today, but after two hours they discovered the sofa wasn't even in stock and that it would take at least two more weeks to be delivered. But, wait it gets better.... see thinking that our furniture was going to be delivered today, we sold our old sofa and loveseat to a friend, so we now do not have a sofa or loveseat in the living room. But wait, there is even more, we finally reach the end of our rope and demand a refund, the manager of the store kept hanging up the phone on us, so it took a few more phonecalls, and the fucker insisted that he was unable to process a refund by credit card over the phone and that we would have to drive down to the store to do it, mind you the store is on Oregon Avenue in south philadelphia. So, off we went to get our refund and start the search for some furniture. We eventually ended up at the King of Prussia mall and found a nice sectional microsuede sofa that we really liked at JC Penneys. So, after much hoopla, we will have our new furniture on Wednesday. Luckily, we have two futons that we can use in the living room until the new stuff comes. I'm just highly aggravated because I lost about 5 hours of time in which I could have been preparing for New Years Eve. I'm a bit grumpy about that and now very tired.
