Why Does The Universe Hate Me So Damned Much???
Not looking forward to the ride home through the slush and muck I arrived hastily at my car around 6:30pm where it had been parked all day in the Franklin Institute Parking Lot. I put the key in the ignition and turn it as I always do... the inside lights come on, the stereo and defroster come, but SOMETHING was missing... The engine was not turning over. So, I tried the routine again and the same thing happened. Ok. I try again and nothing. I call Tim and say "uh hun my car wont start". So, I decide to leave it in the garage seeing as the mechanic is not open right now and I did not feel like waiting an additional 3 hours for it to be towed. I decided to take a cab home and the roads were pretty shitty at that time. So now my car is stuck in the garage downtown. I have no idea whats wrong with it and I need to somehow figure out how to get it to the mechanic. If this is something that is not easily remedied it is curtains for my vehicle... Granted the last thing I want to be doing on top of finding a new job is finding a new car as well.
It could have been worse it could have broken down on the way home in this crappy weather and then i would have had no choice other than to sit in the cold and wait.
