SCA: Danelaw Highlights
Well, after spending all week trying to frantically outfit acerate and myself so we could daytrip/check out our Barony's SCA event, I don't want to touch my sewing machine for a week...or until I need to plan some stuff for Fighter's Collegium in November. Here are the high points of the day:
-Getting the Apprentice Laurel to talk about his lovely 15th c. Italian garb while needing to kill a pile of time before court. :)
-In Viking spirit, 'plundering' a table full of feast gear from a Moorish Squire for a paltry $10 reparation fee. He was even kind enough to loan me a box to take it to the car.
-Winning a little award for speed poetry composition in the Anglo-Saxon style. squee.
-Getting to go home before dark. :)
