Oh yeah. About that.

School started and I forgot to do the traditionally overdone "school is back in session" post. XD Here's a quick rundown on my classes this quarter:

Architecture 320: Urbanism and Architecture of Japan
The teacher: Don is a cool guy. I had him for my architecture class in the fall and he definitely knows his stuff. He really likes this subject, too (it's his specialty), so I think we're all in for an awesome time.
The material: Looks super interesting! It's been tying in like mad with the East Asian Culture and Civilization class I took last year, too.
Other: A 1500-word essay? *cracking up* I habitually write more than that in a day.

English 252: Great Books II - Medieval to Renaissance
The teacher: PK (because her full name is scary-Russian XD) seems interesting, if a little...well, she dresses too young for her age. She seems energetic and interesting, though, so I shan't hold that against her.
The material: *sigh* Oh, literature. If only I hadn't been taught to hate you in high school.
Other: A 2-page and a 4-page paper? ...are all my professors joking?

Computer Science 473: Advanced Rendering Techniques
The teacher: Oh, Pokorny. I see that all of the things I've heard about you are correct. You are a brilliant mathematician, but not so great a computer scientist. In other news, the man looks like a younger version of my mom's dad. O_o
The material: In the first lab, we did exactly the same thing we did in my first intro to graphics class...only we did it in Java instead of C++. >_>
Other: No textbook = yay?

In other news, the gate is still up and I have been neither hit by a car nor assaulted. This bodes well for the future.
