We went bowling last night. Me, Amber, Nick and a bunch of the other TFA people. We got there a little late (no surprise there) and they had already procured a couple lanes for the group to use so we went straight over there. I didn't feel like walking back to the counter to get shoes, not to mention I also didn't have any cash to pay for them, so I just didn't. I took my shoes off and started bowling in my socks. The first three rolls, I got strikes. It was cool, but the very first one was only a practice shot, so it didn't count. Boo. I then proceeded to bowl the whole game without shoes. I'm surprised they didn't notice and make me buy shoes. I almost walked out without paying the $4.50 for the one game that we played, but the other people made me be honest. Damn them!!! I also thought $4.50 per person per game was rather expensive, but maybe not. I'm used to the rock and bowl type bowling where you just pay a flat fee for a certain number of hours. I did pretty well (bowled a 116), but not better than I usually do. I will definitely try this no shoes thing again!
