My birthday is soon. I'm getting old. Last week at school my friends who are 21 asked me how old I was turning, and responded with....... 27..... and they shit their pants. When did 27 sound old? I shouldn't be in school. Why am I on this ridiculous career path with people not even born in the 80's, whos favorite cartoons were power rangers. That's not even a cartoon.
Anyways. enough self pity. Today for my niece's birthday which is the day before mine, I adopted an elephant from the David Sheldrick Widelife Trust. She loves elephants and when she wat 2 always said she was from Africa. And now she knows she doesn't live in Africa but still wants to move there. She is gonna love being an adopted parent to her baby elephant Naipoki. I feel like kids have so much toys I don't want to contribute to the plastic junk in their lives. So I'm rebelling, and being that aunt that gives you like bonds and stuff you don't want when you are a kid. They'll appreciate it later.
Other events are I lost 8 lbs in 1 month! Stephen has been kicking my ass at the gym. And it is paying off! I'm in so much better shape, I'm gonna try to slim down back to size 6.
