Today's my birthday and I'm... not really doing anything. Which is nice. I had to work yesterday and it was exhausting, as some days are, and I went out for dinner and drinks afterwards. Hey, happy birthday! I'm glad it's gone so well :)

I think it takes a year to adjust to any job, and you certainly have picked one with heavy emotional involvement. I'm sure you see your fair share of success stories, though, and I hope they outnumber the sad ones.
