I've been a horrible LJ friend lately. Part of it had to do with me being very busy, then I got sick on Wednesday...but part of it had to do with me being in a "nobody loves me" funk. Sometimes I wonder where I'm going, what I'm doing, and why I can't just stick to one thing and go with it. Why I can't commit. I dunno....just bored and ranting.

How pathetic am I? I have this great guy, who's really nice to me and so sweet and caring, and thoughtful...and I don't think I like him as much as he likes me. When I'm with him, it's really comfortable, but when I'm not around him, I could take it or leave it. I know it sounds thoroughly stupid, but I miss Dan.

So....Dan never called. I guess dinner's off. I tried to call his house at 9...but I got the machine. He said he was going out with a friend at 12ish, and that hed call me after...so I guess he's still out with them. I guess. It just really hurts to know that I wasn't important enough. Today was a nice day. I got flowers from a very nice man who is a regular at my bank. That made me smile. There are a lot of things making me smile lately...but for some reason, I'm not feeling very happy.
