A Road Not Taken

It’s finally coming out. One month to go, and almost to the day, in fact.
You can pre-order it at Samhain, or through Amazon.
But, what took me completely by surprise was the review in Publishers Weekly, which was very complimentary. There was a little flurry of activity because of it- a publicist contacted me to ask if I needed her services- not something I can support with such a small backlist, but it was a nice surprise. Plus, I got a request to have the tv/movie rights for this story listed in some sort of pay-to-access database. I still own those rights, so, no point really.
A very minor sound and fury… But, it was fun, anyways.
So, back to writing. I’m 4/5 of the way through another novella. I’m at the in-filling and tightening stage. My fluffy cat-companion is sleeping on the desk beside me, the sun is shining, and I have a big glass of ice water to get me through the afternoon.
Not a hard life, really.
