Big Girl Jobs
I applied for my first two real big girl jobs yesterday :/ Its crazy to think I am really at that point in my life already!!
One job is in Green Bay. It is working at a YMCA as a "lifestyle center staff". Its not really want I would want to be doing but it would get my foot in the door. I would work in the lifestyle center (obviously)... which is the gym area. Basically I would be there to greet people, give them tours and help with programs.
The second job is more specifically what I want to be doing. It is actually a health educator position. I would be doing health screenings and health risk appraisals. I would deliver health educations programs It is at allegiance health, a health system in Jackson MI. They do a lot of research with UofM which would be really cool. Honestly as much as I want to work at a Y, I want this job more than the other one! Just because it is more of what I want to be doing.
Hopefully I hear something soon.
